August Man: A-Listers Campaign
The A-Listers campaign is about searching for a group of gentlemen that represents an August Man – The man that embodies substance, style and success. Nominations and entries were submitted by the public. 24 gents were chosen through interviews and fashion shoots. Once again, the public had to cast their votes to select the Top 12.
A series of activities were given to the 12 finalists where they vied for the top 3 position. Such activities and challenges included a fashion challenge, where they had to dress themselves up in 30 minutes, do an impromptu skincare commercial, fly a simulated plane, make a pizza and leave their best impression in a yacht party! They were judged according to how they perform both individually and in groups. The top 3 winners walked away with an IWC watch, opportunities to appear in a televised AugustMan.com commercial and fashion spread within the magazine and, of course, a priceless experience. The entire campaign was being filmed into webisodes and uploaded on both AugustMan.com and August Man Facebook.

Perfect Pictures, Anytime - Workshop
Organized by CR Media Pte Ltd and sponsored by SONY, held at National Geographic Store @ VivoCity, it featured award-winning photographers Giora Dan and Paul Daly addressing the crowd about various tips and methods for optimum photo-taking.
When it comes to digital photography, everything is not as simple as pointing and shooting with a powerful camera. And that message was well communicated to the almost 200 crowd who attended the photography workshop held at the National Geographic Store at VivoCity on 05 December, 2009.

Digital Photography Competition 2009
If you think you have seen everything that Singapore has to offer, think again.
Organized yearly by CR Media Pte Ltd and sponsored by Samsung along with co-sponsor Brother International, this year's Digital Photography Competition 2009 had a daunting task for its participants: to capture images that describe what our Garden City means to them.
Out of the countless entries that were submitted, 40 were shortlisted, with the final judging being held at the National Geographic Store @ VivoCity on 05 December, 2009.

Feasting On JewelFest
Occasion: The theme of this extravaganza of jewellery was "Bold and Beautiful". And the guests took it seriously -Dolly Cheong wore a brand new chain and pearl vest; while Audrey Mico and Karen Yip were in va-va-voom chilli red. Renee Tan and Dr Wendy Teoh went bold with their artistic and graphic dresses that stood out tastefully. The jewels were, of course, not any less glamorous. Designs by various local jewellers, including the private ones, were highly sought-after during this exclusive preview.
Capitalising on London's waterfront
Overlooking the marina's calm waters, this preview of London's New Capital Quay apartments by Galliard Homes reflects the same tranquillity surrounding the Greenwich waterfront environment of the London site. Our select VIP guests took their time looking for an ideal unit via a model of the apartments and inquired about details of the location. Among those seriously considering the purchase were Sophie and Jimmy Teo, who reckoned it worthy whether they keep it for their son or for resale.
LUXX Jewellery/Page One Promotion @Vivo City
During the Mother's day weekend, LUXX Jewellery ran a promotion with Page One whereby customers who purchased a copy of LUXX Jewellery received a complimentary Royal Selangor jewellery box (valued at $70).
All 130 jewellery boxes were completely redeemed within a week of 11 May to 18 May. Good response was due to high traffic @ Vivo City during the Mother's day weekend, the quality of the gift as well as the Straits Times ads (thumb ad and quarter page ad) that increased awareness of the LUXX Jewellery/Page One promotion. Furthermore, LUXX Jewellery was able to feature an A1 poster at the Page One store front, acrylic displays by the cashier, as well as hanging mobiles and a tower rack in the magazine section.
LUXX Travel & Spa Bookstore Promotion
Luxx Travel & Spa and major bookstore, Kinokuniya, are currently collaborating on a promotion where customers receive a free Decleor Travel Set upon purchase of a LUXX copy. The promotion started on Good Friday, 6th April 2007 and will continue till 6th June 2007 (or until the Travel sets are fully redemeed). Response has been good as a newspaper thumb ad was featured in the Straits Times on the 10th April 2007, boosting awareness of the inaugural publication and driving sales at the three Kinokuniya outlets. (50% of Travel kits were redeemed within 12 days of the promotion).
